Einav Zilber

Founder

Einav Zilber is a passionate IP professional with profound experience in business-oriented intellectual property management. Einav is among Israel’s IP leaders and a trusted counsel of established companies, startups and entrepreneurs: served as IP Manager and Division Counsel for Applied Materials Israel and Applied Materials India. Worked as a patent attorney at Reinhold Cohn, IP Group. Planned, managed, and implemented interdisciplinary, large-scale, long-term projects for the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). Formulated and executed organizational practice for intellectual property for a large Governmental company.

Education & Admissions:
Einav is a licensed Attorney at Law at the Israel Bar Association since 2000 and a licensed Patent Attorney at the Israeli Patent Office since 2004. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Law.

 

Voluntary Activities:
Einav is an active member of the IP profession and has been playing leading roles in establishing the foundations for this sector to cooperate, educate and grow in Israel:
She is the IPAA (Israel Patent attorney Association) Chair (2015-today) and before that, the Secretary (2013-2015). Einav co-founded The Israeli Forum for In-house IP managers.

She was a board member of The BPIP (Best Practice in IP) conferences 1st-8th.
As well as being a board member of the AIPPI Israel conferences 2013/2016/2021.

With a focus on the client’s needs and budget awareness, we manage legal tasks as a team project:

  • Understanding the scope of the task, defining deliverables, and setting deadlines.

  • Creating an ad hoc team of experts and keeping clear communication among team members.

  • Executing the workplan, adapting and prioritizing activities as needed.

Team Members:

Experienced professionals with relevant expertise join the team as appropriate: patent attorneys, attorneys of law, scientific advisors, tech transfer, and additional service providers. A network of regional counsel worldwide supports the various cases under local guidance and client’s control. The client representatives serve as domain experts, utilizing practices aimed at extracting maximum value while saving experts’ time.

Engagement With Clients:

We engage with our clients in several formats: as outside counsel, service provider, project-based service, inhouse function (part-time or full-time) for the short, mid or long term.
